Nyungwe National Park is a vast expanse of ancient rainforest nestled in the Albertine Rift Valley of southwestern Rwanda. It boasts a rich biodiversity, making it a heaven for nature enthusiasts and a vital ecosystem for the region.
Nyungwe is believed to be one of the oldest rainforests on the continent, dating back millions of years. This ancient forest has remained relatively undisturbed, preserving a unique ecosystem. Renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, housing over 1,000 plant species, 13 primate species, and 300 bird species.
